Coronavirus is impacting everyone but for some, things are getting desperate.
So we have an appeal to help some of the poorest and most challenged families and children within our sphere of influence.
We recently provided much needed help through our #FiverforFoodbank challenge to St Paul’s CoE Primary School (see letter below).
Well they need our help again now. Terry’s daughter in law Nicola is a teacher there and described yesterday at school as the worst day of her career.
She said “Our food bank is currently empty. We’ve had parents on the phone crying because they can’t get food or nappies for their babies. It’s awful. Long life milk, nappies, wipes, sanitary products, other than that anything we can give them is received with huge gratitude. They are desperate,it’s awful.”
So we want to help and we are asking all of our church to donate what they can. If you can please contact Terry by email or phone on 07557 449671, If you can confirm a suitable time Terry will collect from you; just leave the stuff in a bag at your door so as to maintain ‘social distancing’.
As an alternative you can donate or pledge a financial contribution by clicking the button below and we will use this money via Hospitality & Hope to buy goods from Suppliers with connections to the Charity/Foodbank sector.
Thank you in advance for your generosity. We are the hands and feet of our Lord. Blessings.
